Sport & play offer a unique platform to overcome mistrust, heal emotional wounds and to find ways to channel frustration and aggression for children and youth the post-conflict setting of Sri Lanka. The Singhalese and Tamil children and youth participating in the guided team sport activities in the Monaragala district learn, through sport & play, how to deal with conflicts and disputes in a non-violent manner. “Sport & Play for Dialogue” is a joint project launched by Swiss Academy for Development (SAD) and Future Peace.
