Lalas, currently an ESPN soccer analyst, starred on the 1994 US Men’s World Cup team, became the first modern-era American to play in the Italian Serie A, had a stellar career in Major League Soccer and then served as an executive for several MLS teams. In 2006 he was elected into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
