Did you know that 2-time gold medal winner Ashton Eaton co-founded a community service group for student-athletes during his time at the University of Oregon? The O Heroes seek to be positive role models for the local youth by donating time and efforts to community service projects. The O Heroes now give thousands of hours every year. Congratulations, Ashton Eaton, thanks for being a true champion on and off the track. #responsiblesport

Eaton became the first American to repeat in the event since Bob Mathias won back-to-back gold medals in 1948 and 1952. The 28-year-old finished 8,893 points, tying the Olympic record.
