Starting from today, we will present you every week one high-level athlete who lately joined our Champions for Peace club.
Let’s start with Laure Fournier, vice World Champion of Sambo who decided to join Peace and Sport to give back to society all the values and the lifetime experiences that Sport has given her alongside her career.
Her belief is that Sambo can act as a social glue to bring people from different backgrounds, different social categories and nationalities together, nonetheless it has the power to change positively people’s lives by teaching leadership, self-confidence and hard work.
