As we announced last week, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus will be one of the headline speakers at 10th Peace and Sport International Forum.
Professor Yunus is a former banker from Bangladesh and founder of microcredit, a financial tool which enable underprivileged men and women to borrow a very small amount of money to invest in income generating activities and to build a livelihood for themselves.
Yunus has extensively advocated the importance of sport in microcredit, and talking about his participation at Peace and Sport International Forum, he added: “I always felt amazed at the limitless power of sport. It is powerful because it is basic to human nature.
