What a way to kick off the first day with the #S4C2018 class!

Our 17 international delegates spent their first official day on the program participating in inclusive basketball activities with Special Olympics Maryland. They had the opportunity to learn the history of Special Olympics’ work in Prince George’s County, and how they are partnering with public and private schools to provide training opportunities for their athletes with other students. On top of all the new knowledge, many of our international friends were able to play adapted basketball and score their first ever baskets. Click on the photos to learn more!
