We’re thrilled to announce that one of our key initiatives, the U.S. Department of State and @espnw Global Sports Mentoring Program, has been named a Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award honoree at ESPN’s Sports Humanitarian Awards!!Watch the ESPYS on July 18 to catch highlights of the awards ceremony. Since 2012, we—alongside more than 100 U.S.-based mentors—have trained 99 international, female leaders from 53 countries who are implementing sport-based initiatives around the world to improve the lives of women and girls. From grassroots youth development programs to advocacy at the governmental level and everything in between, alumnae of the GSMP: Empower Women program are making real change in communities that need it most.
