This week, Dr. Sarah joined hundreds of leaders in sport, academia, and faith for the second annual Sport for Humanity conference hosted by Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. This year’s theme of “celebrating the Olympic spirit” provided an opportunity for discussion on the power of sports to unite people and effect positive change in the world, which is something we work hard to achieve everyday here at CSPS.

In this picture, Dr. Sarah joins UTK College of Education, Health, & Human Sciences alumni Tony Brown (left), executive director of Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), who works to provide underserved youth with opportunities in education, sports, and the arts. We love connecting with friends, supporters, and advocates for positive social change!!
