Rome 1960 Paralympic Games

As we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 1948 Stoke Mandeville Games, let’s look back and recap on one of the most significant periods of the Paralympic Movement – the Rome 1960 Summer Paralympic Games.

400 athletes from 23 countries competed at these Paralympics – the first international competition for people with impairments.
