We can’t believe it’s almost here!! #GSMP2018 is only five days away, and we’re thrilled to host another group of game-changing delegates—adventure athletes, entrepreneurs, CEOs and founders, journalists, leaders in government, advocates, professors, and more—who will participate in the 10th installment of the U.S. Department of State Global Sports Mentoring Program.

During the program, they’ll be mentored by top, female executives at companies throughout the United States. In addition to learning business skills in an American sports environment, delegates will also develop a strategic plan of action that uses sport as a key platform to address challenges in their home countries. From conflict resolution and peace building, to economic empowerment, gender equality, and health and wellbeing, GSMP delegates leverage the lessons inherent in sport to make real change in their communities. And, at the Center for Sport, Peace, and Society, we are proud to walk alongside each of them in their journey to improve the lives of those from underserved communities.
