BIG NEWS!! 💥🤩💥 We are over the moon excited to announce the soft launch of a brand new partnership here at @utknoxville–the Tennessee Ability Athletics Initiative, a collaboration between us here at the Center for Sport, Peace, and Society and the Therapeutic Recreation Program, which is housed in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies.
On Monday, two-time national wheelchair basketball champion 🏀🏆 2020 Tokyo Paralympic hopeful, and a key player in the new initiative,
@mo61410, spent the afternoon with UTK students—in the classroom and on the court—teaching us how to play the game, but more importantly, how to win by including all people in the game of life. 💪🥰🦋 Thank you for your championship mindset and for sharing so many golden nuggets of wisdom with our students!! 🙌🥳 We look forward to your official arrival on campus and to rolling out more details about the official launch of the Tennessee Ability Athletics Program in true Volunteer style! 📣📣 @utk_cehhs @thecampkoinonia @utk_krss
