Peace and Sport is celebrating the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace on all its field programs.
In the Syrians refugee camp of Zaatari in Jordan, several activities have been taking place since the beginning of the week on the theme of sport for development and peace 🇯🇴 Among these activities:
The final of the Table Tennis Team Championship was attended by Mohammad Atoum, former member of the Jordanian national team, coach of the Oman national team and ITTF representative. Two training seminars organized by the International Cheerleading and Table Soccer Federations to train coaches and implement new sports activities in the camp. 🏓

To strengthen kick-boxing activities, the World Champion, Chairman of the WAKO Athletes’ Commission and #ChampionforPeace, Zsolt Moradi is present on the camp. 🥊

For April 6, more than 200 beneficiaries of the Live Together Program gathered for the first time in the same Community Center to practice all the sports transmitted by Peace and Sport (Table Tennis, Teqball, Kickboxing, Baseball5, Cheerleading and Table Soccer). The went in the desert to hold up a giant #WhiteCard, symbolizing their wish to use sport as a tool for Peace. ◻️ Thank you to all the partners of the Live Together Program for making this happen!
