During the final day of the opening week of #GSMP2019 delegates traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to practice and learn the game of wheelchair softball 🥎🧢alongside athletes at @bennettblazers. Bennett Blazers provides year round, weekly exercise and sports programs for children with physical disabilities.
Delegates had a blast learning the game of softball and learning from the athletes. Special thanks to athlete parent David Elbert for his gracious hospitality and willingness to share so much of his wisdom and experience with our group.
