Opening week of the 2019 Empower Women through Sports program concluded in DC with a visit to the @statedept to meet with Assistant Secretary of State Marie Royce. During the visit 2018 #GSMPAlumni Júlia Vergueiro 🇧🇷 and Ashreen Mridha 🇧🇩 shared their experience since returning home and the process of implementing their action plan over the last year.
Today delegates begin their time at the @espnw Women + Sport Summit in California where they will have the opportunity to network and learn from female sport executives, athletes, and social game changers from the U.S. and beyond!
