The International Paralympic Committee is mourning the loss of Belgium’s most decorated Paralympian Marieke Vervoort, who ended her life this week through euthanasia.
Vervoort won gold in the women’s 100m T52 and silver in the 200m at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, plus two further medals at Rio 2016.
