Our tour of mentor site check-ins for the 2019 U.S. Department of State & espnW Global Sports Mentoring Program is coming to a close soon, but not without a visit around New England in the fall! 🍁

Today we are checking in on Ildikó Mihók from Hungary 🇭🇺 (picture left) and @asta_zukaite from Lithuania 🇱🇹 (picture right) who are both being mentored at @espn!

Ildikó is being mentored by Carol Stiff, Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions. Ildikó is a freelance Marketing and Communication Consultant eager to use her expertise to advance gender equality in Hungary and to increase the pipeline of women in sport-based careers. 💪🏻 “The best thing about being at ESPN is that my mentor, Carol, and her team are very well prepared, eager to support my growth and development, and truly care about me on a personal level. I appreciate the great opportunity to learn and grow at ESPN!” Asta is a Sport Journalist 🎥🎤 at @lnk_tv, being mentored by Maria Soares, Senior Coordinating Producer at ESPN. Asta is committed to using her platform as a journalist to increase women’s representation in media and provide access to decision-making roles. 🙌🏻 “I have had many opportunities to meet with phenomenal leaders at ESPN. They have given me huge inspiration and lots of helpful advice for my action plan and career.” ESPN has been a mentoring organization since the very beginning of the GSMP in 2012 and we are grateful for their partnership to the program and the ongoing support they provide to our alumni. 😍 This is both Maria and Carol’s first year as a mentor with ESPN.
