🎉 | INTRODUCING | Future Stars Academy

When @fsa_official_tz first opened their doors in the slums of Majengo, the idea was to give the youth in Tanzania an opportunity to escape from life’s everyday hardship and to play, smile, have fun and be able to dream of becoming someone.

Just over ten years on, they’re delivering regular football training and competition to disadvantaged young people between the ages of 6-20 years old in the Arusha and Moshi regions of Tanzania.

After the very first week they had only 20 players, which then soon became 40 in the second week, growing in the third week to almost one hundred.

By the end of the month, there were close to 200 young people queuing up at the parking lot ready and eager to play.

Future Stars Academy believe in the power of sport, focusing on children, youth and football, with the aim to empower them and enhance their physical and mental health.

The academy has only one rule: No School – No Play.

To get to know them a little better, this week they’ll be taking over our Instagram stories.

Welcome to the team, we’re delighted to have you!
