@ninakolundzija is a pioneer sports journalism from Serbia 🇷🇸 who has been kicking down doors 🚪💥 since her career began! Nina was the FIRST female sports journalist in Serbia. 🎥🎤 During the 2019 U.S. Department of State & espnW Global Sports Mentoring Program Nina was mentored by Susan Cohig at @NHL. 🏒 Susan was supported by her incredible team, Nicole Allison, Sarah Beeson, Beth Conroy, Emily Favre, Paul LaCaruba, and Aliya Meaney!
With her platform as a sports journalist at @b92_sport , Nina is on a mission to increase the number and quality 📈 of news and feature stories about female athletes. “I want to make them feel like athletes, not like objects who people want to see their hair, body, etc.” 💪🏻 📣 “Sport is the unofficial school of life’s rules. Sport teaches us how to win, how to lose, how to fight, and how to be a team player!” 📣
And we fully believe Nina is just the right woman for the job!
