Some great discussions coming out of Day#2 of #WEF2020 in #Davos. Loads of networking and further conversation on how sports can play a role in achieving the #sdgs:
The day kicked off with @sap #RebootTheEarth discussions around tech helping to address climate change through #AI and youth’s role in the #GlobalGoals. The panel featured our amazing partners @sapnextgen along with @hpi_de @deloitte & @undp. The theme of #ClimateAction was also the focus at the ‘Business Ambition’ lunch, pushing for commitments to reduce temperatures by 1.5 degrees.
We joined Former Man United Footballer, Peter Schmeichel at the @sdgmediazone with @globalcompact for a session on the power of teams and players to advance sustainability. “We all have this general notion that sport can have a positive impact on individuals, communities & on society as a whole. But it’s bringing that to life & understanding how we can really make an impact across the number of the #SDGs. What I’m seeing greatly this #Davos is sport popping it’s head up.” – Nick Keller .
