1. Youth leaders from our partners Green-Kenya are hitting the ground in Nairobi and sharing vital information about the importance of social distancing, staying at home and washing hands regularly with running water and soap.
2. Also in Nairobi, great work by our long-term partner Vijana Amani Pamoja making masks for community distribution. These are being made by VAP’s economic and empowerment participants.
3. G.O.A.L.S. Haiti have pivoted their resources to increased health education and the distribution of precautionary materials such as hand wash kits, soap and face masks. Using social distancing they are continuing their nutrition program that provides a daily meal for up to 400 kids. For many it is the only meal of their day. They have increased their proper hygiene education and community information sessions.
