In one of the world’s most densely populated informal settlements, @carolinaforkibera is helping curb the spread of COVID-19 while maintaining its vital work in the community.
The Kenyan network member typically uses the game to teach healthy life choices and promote peace across gender and ethnic divides. However, they have now shifted their focus and are producing homemade soap, lobbying for local people’s rights and operating health clinics.
Through immense decontamination efforts they are able to continue delivering new-borns at their clinic and distributing hygiene and food supplies to those in need.
