1. Mbarara Sports Academy -MSA is using the power of sport to address social isolation and mental health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is partly thanks to CAC donors whose donations have been shared with Mbarara to support their work. 2. Malaika in the DRC have distributed food packs 60 families from the Kalebuka community last week. Thanks to fantastic CAC donors they have also trained coaches in addressing COVID-19 through play.
3. Sports With A Mission- SWAM in India conducted COVID Awareness Program for girls in Bangalore, India. This is the 3rd such session that they have conducted in the past month. They carried Sanitizers and purchased a thermometer gun to check the temperature of the participants before starting the session. When the participants heard about an Awareness Program they were under the impression that it would be a boring classroom lecture, but to their surprise it was a session filled with games, fun and learning. #Nike #MadetoPlay
