Meet Chipasha Eunice Kapela. 🤩 She’s from Lusaka, Zambia 🇿🇲 and is a 2019 alumna 🎓 of our international leadership development program focused on disability rights. 💪 She had a transformational experience during the program, thanks in part to her mentor, Stephanie Kanter and her time at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL.

Because of this, Chipasha now sees herself not simply as an administrator, but an advocate, someone who actively pushes for greater inclusion for persons with disabilities. 🥰 She is currently working to increase opportunities in adaptive sport and spread awareness about the role sport can play in wellness with the Zambia Paralympic Committee.

What are you advocating for in your community?
