1. 96% of CAC partners reported that the mental well-being of their beneficiaries has been moderately to severely affected by COVID-19. 83% reported seeing anxiety in youth during lock down while 79% reported loneliness. More coming on our support for organizations aiming to address this significant issue coming soon.
2. With support from the European Union and the German Government through GIZ, Youth Environment Service Uganda has received hand washing equipment, awareness-raising banners, hosted several radio talk shows, conducted community mapping in 8 cross-border sub-counties using public audio adverts and CAC curriculum games on Covid-19 prevention.
3. AIFP in Cameroon used the CAC coronavirus curriculum to promote good decisions and social distancing in young participants. As a result participants have learnt how to protect themselves to fight against the spread of COVID-19.
