2020 Beyond Sport Global Awards Shortlister for Decent Work and Economic Growth, @charitybounce, “partners with those who want to make a real difference in this world and are willing to share their passion to inspire the young people we work with.” But it’s not a one-way street.

@jenniscreen9, a 2x #Olympic Medallist (2008/2012) in women’s basketball with Australia’s enormously successful “Opals,” played professionally in Australia and Italy for 15+ years. Currently, she is focused on Athlete Wellbeing, paying it forward and assisting others find their true potential.

A massive over achiever in all areas of her life, she sees every moment as an opportunity for development. Here she shares how being a Charity Bounce Ambassador – helping kids reach their potential – is also helping her learn and grow:

“As a former professional player and person, sometimes in life we can be swept up in our own existence and what we don’t have rather than seeing all that we do have.  Perspective is a great leveller in life.  When you choose to be a part of something like Charity Bounce you gain perspective.

You get to share time with those that may not have been given the support you had growing up, the opportunities, the love, the care.  You get to share time, stories and smiles.  You learn different ways of life.  You learn to see things differently and appreciate people in ways you did not know possible.

You develop bonds and relationships and what you originally set out to do was help others, but in the end, you realise those you connect with in Charity Bounce have helped you more than you could ever help them.”
