1. We are thrilled to see Community Impact Coach David Mulo back on field with his organisation @green_kenya20 . Sessions are thoughtfully planned with limited numbers, interval training and regular hand washing, all while ensuring children are having fun and reducing the level of stress they are going through in this unique time.
2. Our partners Youth Environment Services – YES held an event for over 250 young people on Global Handwashing Day. The event addressed and informed beneficiaries on life saving information and practices, popularizing handwashing to prevent Covid-19, and address other water related illnesses.
3. Sports with a Mission in India conducted their 5th COVID-19 Awareness program over a 3 day period for youth and special needs children. The program introduced information provided by CAC for best practices in combating the virus. By the end of the week participants understood the importance of handwashing, social distancing, and exercise while having fun and feeling encouraged to take responsibility for themselves.
