We’re closing out Women’s History Month by recognizing two more #SportsDiplomacy women who are advancing opportunities for women and girls across the world. Roth Serey is a coach with @kidsplayintl – an International Sports Programming Initiative partner. In Cambodia, Roth uses sport as a vehicle to change perceptions about what it means to play like a girl.
As a child in Kuwait, @rabaaalhajeri played every sport she could; now she is dedicated to improving facilities and funding for women’s sport throughout the country so that more women and girls are able to participate in sport. Raba’a is a Managing Partner at @80percent.co – a socially driven sports management company. All @globalsportsmentoring participants work on action plans that use sport to encourage change in their local communities. We love seeing her plan come to life!
