It’s Field Champion Friday! Meet Coach Violeta Aguilera!
Violeta has been coaching at Belvedere Park for the last 10 years, including #DodgersRBI, which began there in 2016. Violeta was born and raised in East Los Angeles and knows the importance of having youth involved in sports to help keep them get out of trouble and off the streets. Violeta has 3 children, all boys, who are all involved in sports as well.
She encourages all parents to have their children play sports to give them an outlet and help bring families in her community closer together.
Violeta is a returning Field Champion and loves sharing all the information and resources from the program with other families in the community! She’s dedicated to improving the lives of the youth she serves and making her community a better place for all!
